Captain Mark Hlis is a 3rd generation native of Miami and has been fishing South Florida and the Keys since the age of 6. As a teen he won the South Florida Met Tournament ''Afoot Trophy Award'' by catching a monster snook without the use of a boat. Today Mark's passion is fishing the Florida Keys flats and the backcountry for tarpon, bonefish, permit, snook, redfish, and sharks.
