The Aqua Lodge is the newest addition to our houseboat accommodations at Bud n’ Mary’s. It was outfitted in February 2016 and is ready for rental! The boat has a master bedroom with a full size bed and TV, another full size bed is mid ship with 3 walls around it (it’s open on the hallway side), there’s a bathroom with a walk in shower, and in the the living room there’s a tv, couch, and a small dinette area with a table for 2. The Aqua Lodge Houseboat is docked on the inside sections of where our other houseboats are and has a patio area overlooking the marina basin. You’ll see our pet tarpon swimming as you relax on your fishing vacation and enjoy the charter boats returning to their slips at the end of the day. We do not allow cooking on the aqua lodge or any of our other houseboats! We also do not allow children under 15 to stay on the houseboats. There is a fridge and microwave in the kitchenette area. We fished other party boats in the past and had a good time but never the service we had on the Miss Islamorada. Jude , Logan and Josh were great. I couldn't ask for more. Captain Andrew put us on fish every day. While some days fished better than others we never went home empty handed. I highly recommend the party boat experience on the Miss Islamorada.
Had a great time aboard the Miss Islamorada !! Super professional and friendly crew !! The captain was awesome. He explained everything in detail. He was always ready to answer a question or help you while we were anchored. The mates were the best I have ever encountered on a party boat !! Seth and Essex went far and above to make sure everyone caught fish and had a great time. So professional !! They seemed to be everywhere at once !! This boat may not have all the amenities some look for, like an air conditioned cabin and food for sale on board, but the Miss Islamorada is a serious fishing machine. Fast and stable. Leaves and arrives on time, 30 people max on the boat, which makes for an awesome mate to passenger ratio. I think there were about 20 people on my trip. Again, best mates I have seen yet. The mates provided us a variety of baits like ballyhoo, squid, and shrimp. They even hooked me up with live baits. Lots of action !! This boat also does not allow the stern to be reserved like many party boats I have been on. That is awesome. The mates split us up into 3 groups and rotated us to the stern where they had chummed the water. They gave us all spinning reels and shrimp for bait and we slayed the mangrove and yellowtail snappers !! Best part for me. So much fun. We also took turns drift fishing for yellowtail with shrimp and sinking chum balls. Crazy fun !! Everyone caught fish. The mates and captain also gladly filleted our fish and bagged them up for us. Bud and Mary's Marina is an icon in Isla Morada they have the greatest Fleet of Charter fisherman in all of South Florida if you are looking to Charter a boat you can't go wrong at bud and Mary's Marina. They also have a great variety of gear and a variety of shirts and clothing. There is a small restaurant next door for picking up breakfast before you go on your Charter. Many of the famous record-breaking fisherman keep their boats at bud and Mary's Alex Adler who happens to be one of the greatest fisherman of all time keeps his boat here and we fish with him quite often he always seems to get the limit for us we like to bring home lots of mahi mahi so that's why we come to Bud and Mary's to Charter our boats.
