Aqua Lodge Houseboat

  • 2 full size beds
  • Small living room with couch and TV
  • Central A/C
  • Marina Basin View

The Aqua Lodge is the newest addition to our houseboat accommodations at Bud n’ Mary’s. It was outfitted in February 2016 and is ready for rental! The boat has a master bedroom with a full size bed and TV, another full size bed is mid ship with 3 walls around it (it’s open on the hallway side), there’s a bathroom with a walk in shower, and in the the living room there’s a tv, couch, and a small dinette area with a table for 2. The Aqua Lodge Houseboat is docked on the inside sections of where our other houseboats are and has a patio area overlooking the marina basin. You’ll see our pet tarpon swimming as you relax on your fishing vacation and enjoy the charter boats returning to their slips at the end of the day. We do not allow cooking on the aqua lodge or any of our other houseboats! We also do not allow children under 15 to stay on the houseboats.  There is a fridge and microwave in the kitchenette area. Give the marina office a call at 305-664-2461to book your stay on the Aqua Lodge!

Fishing Reports

5 star ratingThe Bud N Mary's Party boat fishing charter was everything we hoped it would be. After looking through many of the fishing charters available in the keys, and many times gasping at the prices, we decided on Bud N Mary's Party Boat. The location was easy to find and crew and captain was super helpful and friendly. All of the bait, license and poles were provided. Hooks were baited by crew if needed and fish taken off of the hook if needed. We boarded at 9:30 and away we went to several locations throughout the Atlantic Ocean. The one thing I noticed is several of the high dollar fishing charters were in close proximity to our fishing locations at each spot we visited. Sometimes we were first and sometimes not. We caught a slew of fish from The common Grunt to several very nice Yellowtail Snapper. Others caught Amberjack, Grouper,Snappers, Mahi Mahi and King Mackerel. Fish were biting all day and we visited multiple spots offering an array of fishing styles from Bottom fishing off the back trolling for the big ones. By 4:30 we were worn out.

4 star ratingWell we got this place as a recommendation to cook our fish that we just caught! Great and staff super nice. The Conch Fritters were delicious. Our Snapper was cooked in a sautéed way. But be specific on how you want to cook "your" fish. We thought it was sautéed but actually came sautéed in a battered egg covering. We just wanted the delicious fresh fish taste which didn't happen.
Cole slaw God and basic salad was fine.
Would recommend this place. Good service, good fritters and of course my fish.

5 star ratingGreat day! A full day out fishing. Dress in layers as the morning is cool, but afternoon gets warm. Bring hats and suntan lotion.
Everyone caught a lot of fish- the crew made it easy and fun. After the trip they sorted the fish, filleted it for us and recommended several restaurants to cook it for us. It was a great day.
