Tackle Shop Suite

  • King bed + day bed
  • TV, Microwave, fridge
  • Patio deck

Our Tackle Shop Suite is a clean, rustic suite with a real “keys” flavor to it. It’s right on top of our marina office/tackle shop and has a spectacular view!

It comes with a king size bed, a day bed (which is a twin bed), bathroom w/ shower, TV, and beautiful patio deck overlooking the ocean (Check photo gallery below). It features a microwave and fridge in the kitchen area but no stove or range. The patio has a great view of the ocean, and you can look to west over Florida Bay and watch spectacular sunsets.

Due to the size, we do not let more than 3 people stay here at a time. Add $15.00 per night for a 3rd person. Minimum length of stay is 2 nights in the Tackle Shop Suite.

Fishing Reports

4 star ratingBest party boat in the keys. I've tried several others and this by far more professional. They rotate guests on the back to handball for yellowtail. Crew is experienced. It's a very old boat but kept up.

4 star ratingWell we got this place as a recommendation to cook our fish that we just caught! Great and staff super nice. The Conch Fritters were delicious. Our Snapper was cooked in a sautéed way. But be specific on how you want to cook "your" fish. We thought it was sautéed but actually came sautéed in a battered egg covering. We just wanted the delicious fresh fish taste which didn't happen.
Cole slaw God and basic salad was fine.
Would recommend this place. Good service, good fritters and of course my fish.

5 star rating5 stars to employees of Galley Girls cafe. Sweet ladies in the cafe. Good size breakfast plate.

5 stars to the employees in the office who listened to our needs and set us up with a smaller boat for just the two of us. He didn't try to upsell us to a bigger boat we didn't need.

50 gold stars to Jim Hendrix on the Dauntless!! Great captain, patient with me who is a complete novice. He knows his stuff: boat, fish, the ocean. Wouldn't hesitate going back.
