The Catch 22 is the flagship of Bud N’ Mary’s fleet. Custom designed by Craig Blackwell, this is the ultimate Sportfisherman! It is a 54′ vessel powered by twin 800HP M.A.N Engines. She is fast and comfortable, with a large cockpit for all the fishing space you will need. The interior is plush with A/C and all the comforts of home. The Catch 22 is captained by Scott Stanczyk. He has a 25 year history at Bud N’ Mary’s, fishing 250 days a year. During this time he has helped many captains who presently operate out of the marina today. Scott has fished and placed in almost every tournament held in Islamorada, and has appeared in numerous TV shows. He has also been subject to many fishing articles by outdoor writers who have fished in Islamorada in the past 1/4 century!

I'm still going to give Bud & Mary's party boat five stars because I love the marina, the captain and the party boat itself 100% but for the first time in 7 to 8 years that I have been going on this boat I was a little disappointed with the crew. Ive never felt like they played favorites until yesterday. There was a particular customer that is also a regular and he and his family we're treated like royalty and others not so much. One of the other guest from out of town and I had a long conversation about it. It was definitely clear to all the other guest as well. I won't stop going on that boat because as I said I really like captain and love Bud n Mary's. My son worked in the service industry for years so I believe in tipping but I'll tip according to the way I'm treated as well.

The Bud N Mary's Party boat fishing charter was everything we hoped it would be. After looking through many of the fishing charters available in the keys, and many times gasping at the prices, we decided on Bud N Mary's Party Boat. The location was easy to find and crew and captain was super helpful and friendly. All of the bait, license and poles were provided. Hooks were baited by crew if needed and fish taken off of the hook if needed. We boarded at 9:30 and away we went to several locations throughout the Atlantic Ocean. The one thing I noticed is several of the high dollar fishing charters were in close proximity to our fishing locations at each spot we visited. Sometimes we were first and sometimes not. We caught a slew of fish from The common Grunt to several very nice Yellowtail Snapper. Others caught Amberjack, Grouper,Snappers, Mahi Mahi and King Mackerel. Fish were biting all day and we visited multiple spots offering an array of fishing styles from Bottom fishing off the back trolling for the big ones. By 4:30 we were worn out.

We had a great day fishing on the Miss Islamorada - Captain TJ and mates Ben and Jude were awesome with having everything ready and assisting with the fishing. Was there with my 11 year old and they were great with them. We caught a bunch of fish and it was a memorable day.
