The Gimme Jimmy is a beautiful 2008 39′ sea vee center console with a pair of 480 hp cummins motors. It’s equipped with a custom tuna tower to spot fish, a giant fish box, two big live wells, a small bathroom, and a drink box. The boat is big enough to accommodate 6 anglers and is one of the fastest boats in the fleet! Whether it’s kite fishing for sailfish, bottom fishing for snapper and grouper, or trolling for mahi, Capt. Mike knows how to do it! Capt. Mike has been fishing in the Keys for over 20 years and knows the waters like the back of his hand! I looked at most of the websites prior to booking wirh Capt Rick. TOPSHELF; I got there plenty early and had breakfast at their store. Great call, biscuits and gravy large portion and very good!
It was still 30 minutes before our scheduled time to leave so I asked around the bait shop if Ricky was there yet. I was told that he had left to go get bait, usually this is done on the way to the fishing grounds taking up your fish time. I was aready pleased when Capt Ricky showed up and was ready to leave. His boat was outfitted with the latest in gear and electrionics. I really liked his trolling motor, it was tied to the GPS so when we got to site the motor kept us in perfect position for the bait to drift over the reef. I caught too many fish! Grouper types, snapper types LOTS of great eats!
Capt Ricky is a very good Skipper, he knows the waters and follows the tides very well. I am already planning next years trip and plan to book with Capt Rick @ Bud & Mary's.....

Best fishing trip you'll go on for the price!! The captain put us on fish all day and boy did we catch them. We went from 9:30-4:30 and between my grandpa, my girlfriend, and I, we caught 2 five gallon buckets full of all kinds of fish. We caught yellow tail, grunts, porgie, and a bunch of other random fish. I saw a couple guys pull in king mackerel. The crew was very knowledgeable and extremely kind and I couldn't thank them enough. At the end of the day it costed $70 per person and they ask for a %20 percent tip to the mate(Which after they helped out all day I was more than happy to give more than %20) and I gave them another $15 for cleaning my fish which isn't required but after they clean that many fish it's worth every penny. I learned a lot and laughed a lot and caught a lot of fish and the day couldn't have been better

Guys Fishing Trip. Great time hosted by Bud & Mary’s for 8 guys. 100% Recommend Spartan Tours (Mike Walker) for a fantastic day fishing in the Everglades. Mike made a great day better.
