The Gimme Jimmy is a beautiful 2008 39′ sea vee center console with a pair of 480 hp cummins motors. It’s equipped with a custom tuna tower to spot fish, a giant fish box, two big live wells, a small bathroom, and a drink box. The boat is big enough to accommodate 6 anglers and is one of the fastest boats in the fleet! Whether it’s kite fishing for sailfish, bottom fishing for snapper and grouper, or trolling for mahi, Capt. Jordan knows how to do it! Capt. Jordan has been fishing in the Keys for over 20 years and knows the waters like the back of his hand! Epic bucket list fishing trip! Went fishing on the Broad Minded with Capt Mike Varney. There are no words to describe how excellent the day was!

2 keeper swords
3 dolphin
2 queen snapper
Several small, but tasty, tuna
And a couple of good smokers

Capt Mike is fantastic- he knows the fishing spots, and he’s very pleasant. All you have to do is listen to him and follow instructions and you will have an amazing day.

We were targeting Swords and made sure that we booked the trip on the appropriate days for prime swordfishing. If your target is a swordfish, please do your homework.

Galley Girls is great spot to grab breakfast or a boxed lunch for you day fishing. Heavy volume of fishing charter boats available 1/2, 3/4, or full day trips!

Great, fun experience. Highly recommend Took my two sons (17 and 21 years) and my brother there. We stayed in the Ocean Front House and went deep sea fishing for one day and backcountry fishing for one day. We had a great time. It was a great experience. It was kind of slow days for fishing but we caught fish and had a fun time. The boat captains did everything they could to put us on the fish
The Ocean Front house we stayed in was simple and clean. And about 20 yards from where we stepped on the boat. That is super convenient so you could sleep longer in the morning without having to drive a ways to get to the boat and you could get to your room for a nap after a long day of fishing.
Despite not getting the catch of a lifetime we hoped for, it was still a great experience and everyone had a great time. All the captains, mates, staff, and anyone else involved in the operations there were friendly and helpful. I will come back again 100%! Even once we catch the fish of a lifetime, we will keep coming back.
