Born and raised in southern Florida, Captain Al Polofsky developed a life-long passion for fishing at a very early age. Over the years, Al established himself as an expert fly fisherman.

In 1976, Al moved to the Florida Keys to share his passion and expertise with anglers seeking a superior and exciting salt water fishing adventure.

He works with all ages and skill levels, taking particular delight in that indescribable moment of a new angler’s first catch! Al specializes in sightfishing for bonefish, tarpon, permit, snook and redfish in the Florida Keys and Everglades National Park.

Of course, Al will accommodate whatever experience you desire, including mackerel, trout and snapper fishing. He operates his flats guiding business with a beautiful, 18′ Hell’s Bay Marquesa and the finest fly and spin casting equipment. He is an avid and creative fly tier.

Whether a beginner or more accomplished, you will appreciate Al’s devotion to and enthusiasm for providing patient, insightful instruction for greatest success. His best joy comes from teaching and seeing his customers catch fish.
