LOBSTER CHARTERS!

(SORRY NO MINI SEASON DAYS AVAILABLE)

With Capt. Sara Stanczyk on the 25 foot Shallow Sport X3

Email Sara to book a charter at floridakeysecotour@gmail.com

$900 for a 4 hour trip for up to 4 passengers

Gloves, nets, lobster license included.  You must bring your own snorkel gear that fits correctly and is comfortable.  Gear can be rented at Key Dives Dive Shop which is on site at Bud n’ Mary’s Marina.

August is the best month to catch lobster but we still do a few trips into September it just starts to slow down some then.  You must be comfortable snorkeling and holding your breath to dive down 10-15 feet deep on average to catch them.  This is not a good activity for small children or people who have never snorkeled before.

STONE CRAB CHARTERS

With Capt. Sara Stanczyk on the 25′ Shallow Sport X3

Email Sara at floridakeysecotour@gmail.com to book a charter

$600 for a 2-3 hour charters depending on weather conditions to go pull the traps, up to 4 people.

Stone crab season is October 15th through May 1st every year.  Learn how to pull and bait crab traps and harvest stone crab claws.  You get to keep the claws to eat!   This is a fun trip for kids and families, very hands on and messy with the fish scraps we use to bait the traps.

5 star ratingI was there on a 2 day backcountry fishing trip with my 18 year old son. We had Capt John Johansen the first day and captain Ted Wilson the second day. We caught a tarpon and quite a few sharks. We had a most pleasurable trip and hope to do it again soon. Captain John and Captain Ted thank you for a great time on the water. You represent Bud and Mary's very well. I hope to see you guys soon!

5 star ratingThe accommodations at Bud N' Mary's exceeded all my expectations! The staff was friendly and very helpful with any questions or request for assistance. I stayed at the marina on the "Lucky Lady" houseboat and couldn't have been more satisfied. Fully equipped, clean and comfortable accommodations with a deck overlooking the ocean. I took advantage of their boat rental service and enjoyed a few days fishing in the back water. I look forward to a return trip for Tarpon season and will definitely stay @ the "Lucky Lady" again . . . Highly recommend

1 star ratingThe biggest rip off for fishing. Paid $550 and never caught one fish. Never put a rod in the water. Watched the capt put the rods in and never caught anything for 4 hours! Was told it was snapper and tarpon fishing. Only went for tarpon and as I said didn't catch anything. Would not recommend this place. Complete waste of $550!
