Most of the offshore charter boats at Bud n’ Mary’s Marina are owner/operator and vary in price due to their fuel burn/amenities/boat size. The backcountry skiffs are all owner/operator and most of them have near identical fixed costs, so their prices are the same. We do not offer any discounted rates for “Islamorada fishing packages” since we do not own the boats. Examples of “multi day fishing packages” would include fishing on both offshore and backcountry boats. There are so many different fish to catch in Islamorada, mixing it up a little bit is highly recommended. However, if you favor one type of fishing over another, feel free to book multiple days doing that! These guys work hard to put you on the fish and help you catch fish. You are going to catch fish. Good trip for beginners and experts too. At the end of the day they will clean and fillet the fish for you to take home to eat or take to a restaurant and let them cook it up for you. I have been on other boats that were not a good. The gear is all in good working condition and they run a tight ship. I am local and I will be back.
Fabulous Captain and Sportfishing Facility Captain Nick Stanczyk is an absolutely fabulous guide and captain. He knew where to fish which put onto a giant fish very quickly. Then he never took his eyes off the line and kept the boat properly placed for the duration of an 8 hour plus fight. In the end, we landed a record size swordfish of over 757 pounds. As experienced captains ourselves we cannot say enough positive things about Capt. Nick, his boat or and his crew. In addition, Bud n Mary’s knows how to treat fisherman of all levels. The Galley Girls Cafe located at Bud n Mary’s puts together great early am breakfast in plenty of time to make the boat departures and their lunch boxes are excellent as well. If you are looking for great day trips or a trip of a lifetime Capt. Nick Stanczyk and Bud n Mary’s is the place to go.
Review for "Miss Islamorada" fishing charter: Captain and the mates worked very hard to put us on fish. Moved around a few times. Full charter and everyone had a chance to fish in the back for yellowtail- played no favorites. They may have read prior reviews; they worked really hard to make sure everyone was happy. Would definitely go again.
