Boat Dockage

Bud n’ Mary’s Fishing Marina has a limited amount of transient (short term) boat dockage. We have direct ocean access for boats with a maximum of a 4.5 foot draft and up to 45′ in length. Our channel is fairly narrow, with a rock jetty on the north east side of it, and a “flat” on the southwest side of the channel. You need to pay very close attention when navigating the channel because there is hard bottom on both sides! There is also direct access to the Florida Bay by way of Tea Table Relief bridge for skiffs, small center counsels, and bay boats. There’s an average clearance of 6′ – 8′ under the bridge, but on extreme high tides there is 5.5′ of clearance under the bridge. Less than 2 miles south is Indian Key Bridge which has over 20′ of clearance.

Our short term in-water rates run $5.00 per foot, per night for boats under 30 ft and $6.00 per foot per night for boats over 30 ft. Price includes water.  There is a $1.00 per foot per night discount if you are staying in our accommodations as well.

Limitations

We do not have a boat ramp on site at Bud n’ Mary’s Fishing Marina, however there is a boat ramp at Indian Key Fill located approximately 1 mile south.

There is no trailer storage on site as we are a small facility, but there are some options for trailer storage nearby. We do not have dockage or marina access for sail boats. We also do not allow customers to live aboard vessels docked at our facility (No Live Aboards).

5 star ratingCaptain Trent’s fishing excursion in the Florida Keys Our fishing excursion with Captain Trent was all that I hoped for and more! He was so knowledgeable and helpful. My husband and I are both elementary school teachers, and we were both very impressed with how good he was with our kids! He was patient, and extremely encouraging! He made small talk with us and even acted as a tour guide by going to places that he knew we would be able to see crocodiles and other Florida wildlife while we fished. Both my husband and son were able to catch lots of fish, and my son was over the moon about catching his dream fish, a tarpon, even though it isn’t tarpon season! We had such a great time, and I would definitely recommend him to anyone!

5 star ratingNate is awesome Captain …. Super Experience We had an amazing fishing trip this morning with Nate Blackburn ..post hurricane / rainy conditions could have made for a miserable fishing trip . Nate went above and beyond to make it the best experience ever !! Made sure we went to plenty of different spots to achieve our “ dinner “ goal which we did ! Our limit of snapper ! And I also caught Tarpon and Goliath Grouper
( both catch and release , protected species ) .. Great conversations . Great Boat Ride . thank you so much Nate , we had an awesome experience .. Highly Recommend!
