The Lucky Lady II is a trawler we’ve recently purchased that is a gorgeous boat to stay on! Feel like you are on a real ‘pleasure cruising’ boat! The boat is well maintained and has great views of the Atlantic Ocean. It does not leave the dock however and serves similar to our house boats as lodging only. There is no cooking allowed on the Lucky Lady II, just a fridge and microwave. We also do not allow children under 15 to stay on the houseboats.
The view of the Atlantic Ocean is a tremendous site, and you will wake up to it every morning! Watch the sunrise in the east and see the historic Alligator Lighthouse off in the distance a few miles offshore. The Lucky Lady II is a great setup for up to 4 guests and everyone can have there own bed.

Went out on the party boat. Captain and mate worked their butts off to keep our hooks baited and in the water. We caught a ton of yellowtails. I've been on about 10 party boat trips and this one used more bait and chum than any I've seen. Great job and very friendly captain and mate! Would definitely go again
Epic bucket list fishing trip! Went fishing on the Broad Minded with Capt Mike Varney. There are no words to describe how excellent the day was! 
Captain Bill Bassett at Bud and Mary’s My husband and I are boat owners and fish out of OCNJ for the past 30+ years. We came to Islamorada to fish a full day back country through the Everglades for a new experience; catch some fish new to us and see some cool wildlife. Friends referred us to Bud and Mary’s and after chatting with us for a bit, Chrissy paired us with Capt Bill Bassett saying that it would be a great fit, and she was right. Capt Bill is a master of his craft, knows where to fish, how to catch and cater to his clients. We caught snook, bonefish, sea trout, a bunch of jacks and saw some crocs 😀. He’s also an entertaining conversationalist, the 8 hour trip passed in a blink. What a fantastic experience, thanks so much Captain Bill and Bud & Mary’s Marina!
