Most of the offshore charter boats at Bud n’ Mary’s Marina are owner/operator and vary in price due to their fuel burn/amenities/boat size. The backcountry skiffs are all owner/operator and most of them have near identical fixed costs, so their prices are the same. We do not offer any discounted rates for “Islamorada fishing packages” since we do not own the boats. Examples of “multi day fishing packages” would include fishing on both offshore and backcountry boats. There are so many different fish to catch in Islamorada, mixing it up a little bit is highly recommended. However, if you favor one type of fishing over another, feel free to book multiple days doing that! Great Trip with Max Gaspeny Max took our 3 sons (24, 14, and 12) out today while my wife and I went with another guide. It was the younger two’s first time with a guide and first time on salt water. Max asked them what they wanted to do and the boys answered you do this for a living so you make the call. The first spot they went they caught 50 plus fish of 11 different species and the boys had a blast. Then Max asked if they wanted to try for some Tarpon he spotted the night before. They said sure. They hooked 8, boated three a couple smaller and one Max thought was around 50 pounds. Needless to say they came back to the dock on cloud 9. Today wasn’t a great fishing day either as my wife and I landed one Jack-our only other bite was a hammerhead. On top of that Max was just so good with the boys. They all came back telling me about the stories they heard and what a great time they had. He was super patient with the little guys and shared some very kind words about them when the got back in. I really can’t speak highly enough about the experience he gave my kids today. Thank you Max.
I used Bud N Marry's marina to get on the Miss Islamorada Charter to do some reef fishing recently. It was a rainy day when we got there. I was excited we were still going to departure and be all day out. The rain shortly stopped. The ocean was calm and the fish were rambunctious. Captain Ben was true gentleman, so courteous, so nice and extremely caring. He was making sure that everyone hooked at least one good sized fish for dinner. Even though he is the captain he worked his tail off, even making bait ball for those of us in the back of the boat catching snappers.He took us to a great spot, even encountered some bull sharks. 
We went out on the party fishing boat and had a wonderful time. The trip lasted from 9.30-4.00 and we stopped at different sites. The captain and his crew worked very hard to make sure that all the guests were able to catch as many fish as possible. They were very friendly and knowledgeable. The 3 of us caught about 20 fish. I would strongly recommend this company for anybody who wants a fun day and not spend too much money ($95 per person).
