Most of the offshore charter boats at Bud n’ Mary’s Marina are owner/operator and vary in price due to their fuel burn/amenities/boat size. The backcountry skiffs are all owner/operator and most of them have near identical fixed costs, so their prices are the same. We do not offer any discounted rates for “Islamorada fishing packages” since we do not own the boats. Examples of “multi day fishing packages” would include fishing on both offshore and backcountry boats. There are so many different fish to catch in Islamorada, mixing it up a little bit is highly recommended. However, if you favor one type of fishing over another, feel free to book multiple days doing that! My grandson's saltwater fly-fishing triumph. Mt grandson and I did a full day charter with Capt Nate Blackburn. We targeted Salt water fly-fishing. My grandson really wanted a Shark. Capt Nate put him on at least 7 sharks and he had 2 solid takers. He also caught Barracuda, Jack Cravelle, Redfish, Snapper and a large Sheepshead, all on his fly rod. I had a blast with Spinning tackle. We caught 40 to 50 fish overall. We saw a Bald Eagle and a large saltwater crocodile! We have a Life time of memories. Capt Nate knows how to fish this area!
Great spot to grab a fishing charter. From what I hear it's much cheaper than key west. Pre order some lunch from the trading post up the street and bring it along. I can't wait to book my next trip and spend at least 2 days fishing.
This marina is great! Came with a few friends for MDW and within 5 minutes on the phone, we had a boat locked down. It was super easy and the boat was new and in great shape! Perfect for the sandbar adventures that we had planned. The whole team is very helpful and pretty funny as well. Couldnt have asked for an easier situation.We will 100% be using this marina to rent our boats every year!!
