Meet Captain Cory Nelson, a Florida native with a love for the backcountry and 10 years of experience with inshore and offshore fishing. When he’s not on a charter, you can typically find him enjoying a day out on the water with his daughter Bindi or pursuing one of his numerous adrenaline driven hobbies. Cory is passionate about sight fishing on fly and spin particularly permit, tarpon, and bonefish. Cory welcomes anglers of all experience levels and looks forward to making it a great day out on the water!

Captain Cory competes in numerous tournaments including the Islamorada Gold Cup, Jimmy Johnson, Reef cup, and blue/white marlin tournaments in the Bahamas and Cuba.

Great, fun experience. Highly recommend Took my two sons (17 and 21 years) and my brother there. We stayed in the Ocean Front House and went deep sea fishing for one day and backcountry fishing for one day. We had a great time. It was a great experience. It was kind of slow days for fishing but we caught fish and had a fun time. The boat captains did everything they could to put us on the fish
The Ocean Front house we stayed in was simple and clean. And about 20 yards from where we stepped on the boat. That is super convenient so you could sleep longer in the morning without having to drive a ways to get to the boat and you could get to your room for a nap after a long day of fishing.
Despite not getting the catch of a lifetime we hoped for, it was still a great experience and everyone had a great time. All the captains, mates, staff, and anyone else involved in the operations there were friendly and helpful. I will come back again 100%! Even once we catch the fish of a lifetime, we will keep coming back.

Chartered a 1/2 day offshore trip. Captain and mate very professional. Whole operation is top notch. Ordered breakfast the day before and a box lunch to take out on the boat. With the marina located 5 miles from the fishing you get a real bang for your buck. The run out took 15 minutes then we started fishing. Weather was very nice and we caught 7 fish. Unfortunately the 2 black Grouper we managed to get out of their holes are out of season until NEXT week. Saw a sailfish but wasn't interested in the live bait we cast in front of him. I highly recommend Bud n' Mary's. The Stanczyk family run a fantastic business. They take care of the customers at any cost.

My grandson's saltwater fly-fishing triumph. Mt grandson and I did a full day charter with Capt Nate Blackburn. We targeted Salt water fly-fishing. My grandson really wanted a Shark. Capt Nate put him on at least 7 sharks and he had 2 solid takers. He also caught Barracuda, Jack Cravelle, Redfish, Snapper and a large Sheepshead, all on his fly rod. I had a blast with Spinning tackle. We caught 40 to 50 fish overall. We saw a Bald Eagle and a large saltwater crocodile! We have a Life time of memories. Capt Nate knows how to fish this area!
