Meet Captain Cory Nelson, a Florida native with a love for the backcountry and 10 years of experience with inshore and offshore fishing. When he’s not on a charter, you can typically find him enjoying a day out on the water with his daughter Bindi or pursuing one of his numerous adrenaline driven hobbies. Cory is passionate about sight fishing on fly and spin particularly permit, tarpon, and bonefish. Cory welcomes anglers of all experience levels and looks forward to making it a great day out on the water!

Captain Cory competes in numerous tournaments including the Islamorada Gold Cup, Jimmy Johnson, Reef cup, and blue/white marlin tournaments in the Bahamas and Cuba.

Captain John was an incredible guide!! My husband and I are experienced boaters, he ( husband) an experienced angler. Within the 1st few mins. of meeting Captn John we knew we were in trusting & experienced hands. John took his time with me ( not experienced angler) & taught me step by step & within mins it was “ fish on!”. He sought out the good spots to catch fish, and catch we did! John is a very
experienced guide. We highly recommend him for your fishing fun in the keys!

The Bud N Mary's Party boat fishing charter was everything we hoped it would be. After looking through many of the fishing charters available in the keys, and many times gasping at the prices, we decided on Bud N Mary's Party Boat. The location was easy to find and crew and captain was super helpful and friendly. All of the bait, license and poles were provided. Hooks were baited by crew if needed and fish taken off of the hook if needed. We boarded at 9:30 and away we went to several locations throughout the Atlantic Ocean. The one thing I noticed is several of the high dollar fishing charters were in close proximity to our fishing locations at each spot we visited. Sometimes we were first and sometimes not. We caught a slew of fish from The common Grunt to several very nice Yellowtail Snapper. Others caught Amberjack, Grouper,Snappers, Mahi Mahi and King Mackerel. Fish were biting all day and we visited multiple spots offering an array of fishing styles from Bottom fishing off the back trolling for the big ones. By 4:30 we were worn out.

If you are visiting to fish and need to know what is biting, where to go or what bait to use then you must stop by this bait shop. Everytime I have been there the staff is exceptionally helpful and full of knowledge!
